Cosmetic Recontouring

Cosmetic recontouring is an easy way to alter the appearance of small irregularities of the teeth such as fractured incisal edges. These occur with time through normal wear of the teeth or through trauma, such as a blow during contact sports. Requiring no anaesthesia, a minimal amount of tooth is removed to reshape and harmonise the appearance, often producing dramatic improvements. Recontouring can revitalise a smile and result in a more youthful appearance. In addition softening the edges of teeth can transform a square, masculine shape into one that is more rounded and feminine.
