Our Oral Hygienist is Alison Chapman EDH FAETC RDN. She qualified as a civilian with the Navy at HMS Nelson, Portsmouth in 1982 and has worked in hospitals, both NHS and private. She has passed all extended duty courses for dental hygienists including one for the taking of radiographs. Specialising in Oral Health Education, she passed her Adult Teaching Certificate in 1999 and runs her own school for dental nurses. Alison was runner-up in the Dental Hygienist of the Year competition in 2001. She has also recently published a book on periodontal treatment.
