At Aquae Sulis Dental we only ever use tooth coloured fillings. These come in a variety of different shades enabling us to match the colour of the filling to the shade of tooth. This provides a much more natural look and puts an end to displays of unsightly silver fillings when laughing or smiling.

As well as the aesthetic implications there is also some debate about the safety of Mercury in traditional amalgam fillings. We therefore prefer to use the modern alternative found in tooth coloured fillings; composite resin. Although it used to be considered an inferior material, technological advances mean it is now as strong and reliable as amalgam and is widely used by leading dentists throughout the world. As well as being ideal for fillings, composite resin can also be used to build up teeth; enhancing both their strength and appearance.
