Dental Implant dentistry may be Aquae Sulis’ speciality, but you can be sure that every bit as much care and attention goes into more routine treatments and examinations as would be the case with implant and reconstructive surgery.

Our general dentistry skills are extremely comprehensive, from performing fillings (always matched to the colour of the tooth), carrying out root canal work, providing preventative care including oral hygiene work and gum disease prevention, applying fissure sealants through to offering more specialised treatments such as treating TMJ disorders.

We are also highly experienced in alleviating the fears of nervous or anxious patients – including the option of safe dental sedation – to help them dispel negative feelings acquired through unfortunate past dental experiences.

Before attending Ian’s practice, I used to dread dental appointments. However, Ian inspires such confidence that, following initial corrective treatment, I found myself looking forward to my visits and sufficiently at ease to opt to have all my metal fillings replaced with white ones. The difference this has made to me is hard to convey, but I now smile a lot! Our grown-up sons have also transferred to Ian’s practice.
